What to do in Midtown Manhattan?

Midtown Manhattan is the bustling heart of New York City. It’s home to some of the city’s most iconic buildings, including the Empire State Building, and popular neighborhoods such as Hell’s Kitchen, Chelsea, and Times Square.

Soaked in the true Manhattan culture, Midtown is a famous worldwide destination for tourists. People recognize many of its landmarks from movies, but exploring this neighborhood in person is a lifetime experience.
So, we have some suggestions for what you can do in Midtown Manhattan.

  • Explore Grand Central Terminal
If you watch a lot of movies, you wouldn’t wait for our suggestion to go to Grand Central Terminal. Countless films and TV shows have used this magnificent location as a backdrop. The best thing about Grand Central Terminal is that it is free. While you are there, don’t forget to look up at its turquoise ceiling.

  • Go to St. Patrick’s Cathedral
Famously known as the biggest Catholic church in America, St. Patrick’s Cathedral is a neo-gothic wonder that everyone should pay a visit to. The entry is free for everyone unless you are a history lover and want a guided audio tour which costs around $25.

  • Ride the Roosevelt Island Tram
This is not a good idea for someone who is afraid of heights, but if you love adventure, you will enjoy the tram ride to Roosevelt Island. Costing only $3, this thrilling tram ride over New York City gives you all the magical views of the Midtown Manhattan skyline in just 3 minutes.

Great way to travel with luggage while sightseeing
I was in NYC for one day before my flight left that evening. I wanted to visit MOMA, but they don't allow or check suitcases. I checked my suitcase at a copy shop where radical storage told me to go. Very efficient, inexpensive and Convenient. Will use again.
