A very old city
The first evidence of the existence of Krakow dates back to the 17th century, but this does not exclude that its foundation may even be older. Ancient Krakow was a large Bohemian commercial hub that was unfortunately destroyed during the Tatarean invasions. At the beginning of the XVII century, it also lost the title of the capital city of Poland and faced a period of great decline.
