Known as the Silk Exchange in English, La Lonja de la Seda is a major trade and commerce center in Valencia with prominent Gothic architectural features. Construction work for this silk trading hub in Italy started in the late 15th century and ended in the early 16th century.
The astonishing design of the La Lonja building is divided into three sections. There is a main trading hall, which was used for silk contracts, a central tower, and a huge courtyard.
