Portugal’s capital city is a rarity amongst other cities in the Iberian Peninsula. It’s easy to explore in a few days, and it’s walkable even if very hilly, so make sure to wear a comfortable pair of shoes.
Comfortable shoes aside, you'll also need to make sure you store your luggage or heavy backpacks somewhere. Possibly, leave them near a tram stop or a train station so you can easily reach Lisbon airports.

Do you want to read the end of this sad story? They spent a day in bed because of severe back pain. No, you can't wander around this city with luggage by your side. Unless you are a professional, Lisbon is made of continuous uphill and downhill roads, so it's impossible not to get tired!

Travel safety tips
Despite restrictions imposed by governments, travel is slowly starting up again. To make your trip safe, we decided to create a short guide for you with all the rules to follow. There aren't many, but they can help you prevent infection.
1) When traveling, just like when you are in public places, always wear a covering mask. Carry several masks with you to change at the end of the day. 2) Don't forget to pack one or more sanitizing gels in your purse.
They’ll help you when you can't get to a restroom to wash your hands. 3) Maintain social distance. Walk or sit at least three feet away from people around you.
Interesting facts about the city
Many people ask on the internet if Lisbon is worth visiting. Well, Lisbon is a city you should visit at least once in a lifetime for its compact structure and incredible views of the ocean.
Although modern and contemporary, Lisbon preserves its character. Once in town, you won't feel you are in a traditional European capital since the rhythm of life here is somehow calmer and slower.
Undoubtedly, Lisbon is best known for its ornate architecture, rich history, and yellow trams running up and down the hills. Another essential feature of this city is its culture. Fado music, the azulejos, and the natural nightlife make Lisbon unique. Alfama, the oldest district, and St. George's Castle, the most popular landmark, give Lisbon an extra boost.
How to visit Lisbon
Before booking your car park or your flight to this beautiful European destination, make sure you've made a list of all the must-see monuments and museums that may interest you. This way, you can enjoy the city to the fullest! And on your list, don't forget to write down any Radical's storage places that might be useful to you.
If you are planning to visit the Old Town, this is the best place to store your bags in Alfama.
Wherever the Lisbon wind takes you, remember that the comfort of Radical Storage is always just around the corner.
If you've arrived at Rossio Railway Station or will be leaving from there, you could start your tour right in that area!
Rossio Station overlooked Rossio Square and was formerly known as Estacao Central.
Our left luggage is located a few meters from the main entrance of the station. You can book it if you want to visit a little more of the city before taking the train home.
The station is close to Miradouro Sao Pedro de Alcantara, a belvedere with a panoramic view over the City Center to São Jorge Castle. This place is ideal for visiting both during the day and at night.
To get to it, you need to take the Gloria Elevator. You can also take a break in the garden, enjoying a fresh drink with your friends or, why not, by yourself.
Moreover, Rossio Station is close to Lisbon's most famous elevator, the Santa Justa lift, built in the early 20th century to connect the lower part of Carmo Square.
