Our taxi dropped us right in front. It is a small liquor store, next to a sandwich deli. The owner greeted us, we didn’t have to show him a code or anything, just asked us how many bags. We wheeled our 3 suitcases over and he said he’d put them in back. And that was it. We left, hopeful that our cases would be safe! We passed back by the store about 30 minutes later, didn’t go in, but our cases were still visible in the store. Sigh. We toured Florence, came back 4 hours later, and he remembered us, grabbed our cases (from the back now), and again didn’t show we code, email, nothing. Overall I was pleased because the location was great and we were able to store our stuff while we were out and about. I would do it again, but I would not leave anything valuable.
